Today I went to my new Dr. Here in New York! I saw the nurse practitioner because that's just the way they do first visits. She was very nice and gave me lots of info about their practice and what's to come in the weeks to come. I am measuring a week ahead at 29 weeks! Heart rate was normal along with my blood pressure. All in all a good appointment. I got my whooping cough vaccinations. Ouch! My arm hurts so bad :( To all my current prego followers I suggest you get one while you are pregnant. Studies show that the antibodies from the vaccination reaches the baby. And since your baby won't get vaccinated right away for this it will help protect him/her. Also be sure your partner gets one to! Anyway, back to my appointment. The NP also wants me to see a perinatologist (high risk dr) in a few weeks for a growth scan and to meet with one of the specialists there. Everything is normal with both me and Emma but because I am on metformin and Prozac she wants them to make sure all is ok. So I will call them after I finish this entry. She gave me a to do list since my pregnancy brain is so bad. I have to make that appointment, pre register at the hospital and set up parenting/childbirth classes. Feeling lots of new symptoms this past week. My hands and feet are swelling often and tingling. This can be very painful. My wedding ring is tight sometimes and others it fits like a glove. Another symptom, I get extremely out of breath very easily. I feel like it takes me an hour to get up our steps. I can for sure tell I have hit the 3rd trimester. My energy has dropped off and I am moving at a snails pace most of the time. I wish I could just fall into my bed and sleep for a week! We all know that doesn't happen when you are this far in! I'll settle for a cat nap here and there. :)
Unpacking has gone great. My entire upstairs (living, dining and kitchen) is done! Put away and decorated! The bedrooms are downstairs and are mostly complete. I have a few pictures that I need the hubby to hang and a few bathroom items to unpack. The only thing left for unpacking is the garage. Lots of miscellaneous stuff in there that needs to go in the storage unit out back. Mostly tools and crap. We also have an old couch in there that I need to put on Craigslist. We just have no room for it.
I have spent most of the last few days working on Emma's room! Fun stuff I tell ya! I can't get enough of all that cute stuff. I have washed clothes, sheets, blankets and all the burp cloths. Everything is folded and put in its correct spot! The crib is up and decorated. I also put together lots of stuff, bouncer, swing, stroller, car seat, changing table and the bassinet. We have everything set up and ready just in case she decides to make an early arrival! Lets pray she doesn't though. I packed most of her stuff for the hospital. I need to figure out a few more outfits though for her hospital pictures. One of them is going to be this cardinals baseball dress my friend made (big Cardinals fan!). I ordered this adorable bow from etsy to go with it. Etsy can be very addicting! I have a few pictures of the nursery but ill post better ones when it's complete. :)
This weekend all we have planned is finishing the house and unpacking the garage. We may take a trip to the city for some sight seeing if we finish early. I hope you all have a great Holiday weekend.
Here are some pics! The pups think all of these new soft toys are for them! Lol

Moving and 27 Weeks
Yesterday marked 27 weeks! Our last week in the second trimester, yay!!! How am I feeling..........very pregnant! I'm tired all the time, no energy, my butt hurts (yes my butt, by my tailbone), my lower back hurts, my legs ache all night long, I can't sleep....... There is a little sample of how I feel. I think the second trimester "I'm feeling great" attitude has left the building. Oh and my emotions are all over the place! crying one minute laughing the next.
Emma is quite the athlete in there! She moves ALL the time. Looks like she is trying to escape from the outside. I do love that part, except at 3am! I have my first appointment with my new Dr. next Thursday. They are doing an ultrasound so I get to see this sweet girl again! I think I'm going to eat a huge candy bar before I go so she is awake, lol. Oh, and I did get my diabetes test back, NEGATIVE! That's a relief for sure. I did come back anemic though. So I have to start taking iron pills at night. But everything else came back normal.
Now I need to vent a little about our move out to New York! I just had a bad feeling something was gunna go wrong before we got on the plane. I had been having major anxiety for weeks about putting my sweet Dakota under the plane. So when I had to do my final handoff to the airport officials I had a little bit of a breakdown. I cried like a little baby! He was so scared and I hated leaving him like that. But I had no choice. So once I gathered myself mark and I made it over to our gate with our other dog Izzy. She is only 5lbs so she could ride in cabin with us. Once on the plane my anxiety came and went for most of the flight. 5 long hours I sat there wondering what he was doing under there. Oh and the flight was freezing the entire time! The stewardess said there was nothing she could do about it. Then I went to the bathroom and I think she noticed my very pregnant belly cause she came back with a blanket and said she stole it from first class for me! One of the perks of being pregnant, people always feel sorry for the pregnant girl, lol!! Works for me! Anyway, I tried to keep busy with playing games on my phone and eating all the peanuts I could find! Then we finally landed. We got off the plane as fast as we could and went to pick up Dakota. Once down to baggage claim our suitcases were already there, but no Dakota! We asked the workers and they said someone will bring him out shortly. Ok, wait wait wait, still no Dakota. By this point I'm pissed! I just want my dog and I want to go! Mark told me to wait where I was and went to the counter again. He came back and said they can't find him!!! WTF, what do you mean they can't find him, he is a live animal in a huge crate!!!! The lady (baggage handler) walked passed us and said there's no dog back there in a rude pissed off voice and walked away! I about lost it. If I hadn't been pregnant that woman would have been on the floor and I would have been in hand cuffs. (Yep, I'm crazy like that when it comes to family and my dogs) Anyway the manager came out and said I'm she was trying to figure it all out. We sat there for an hour and a half when finally they brought him out! I was sweating and crying hysterically. I was so happy to see him and he was so scared. He to was ready for the day to be over. At the end of the day we received $200 in travel vouchers for our trouble. Not enough if you ask me but whatever. I will never fly delta airlines with my pets again. I mean seriously, how do you lose a live animal on a direct flight?!? Craziness I tell you.
So we got to our new apartment late that evening and set up the air mattress and went to bed. And this is where my bad luck continues! The place is beautiful but it was dirty! The floors, bathtubs and counters were all dirty. They vacuumed and painted but that was it. Also the hot water heater is a tankless one and it gives you a few minutes of hot water then switches to ice cold! I have to keep turning it off and wait for it to turn hot again. So we called the office and they said they would send someone to clean and to fix the water. Someone came for the water twice now and it's still not fixed and no one came to clean. I finally just did it myself. I'm still trying to get them to fix the water though.
Then on top of all this we are still waiting for our stuff and car from San Diego. The driver told us on Thursday it would take 4-5 days tops. He called today and asked if I wanted him to deliver Saturday or Monday? What?!? Really 10 or 12 days? That's crazy especially since he said 4-5 in the beginning. I told him Saturday and asked why its taking so long. He said well I have a delivery in Virginia to and I don't want to have to back track. Grrrrr! He also said that in our contract it states 7-10 days for delivery, so really he is on schedule. Well he shouldn't have said 4-5 days if this was the case. Whatever, so now I sit here in an empty apartment for another 2 days with nothing to do.
Over the weekend I had mark take me to Carlos bakery in New Jersey! He is the guy on TLC with the show called cake boss! Ummmmm, I'll just say YUM! It was delicious. My favorite is the lobster tails pastry. So delicious! We also went to Central Park on Mother's Day and walked around. I got my first slice of New York pizza. It was great! We also got pedicures :)
That about sums up my past week! I know this post isn't as cheerful as my others usually are. I'm sorry for that but sometimes a girl just needs to vent. Hope you all have a great week! See you at 28 weeks

26 weeks, baby shower and moving!
Well this last week has been a little crazy! I'll start with my pregnancy..... 26 weeks! It's going by fast and slow, if that makes sense. Baby is moving like crazy all the time. She is laying from left to right most of the time now. I have been waiting for hiccups but haven't felt any. I hear it feels weird. I have been feeling pretty good for the most part. My lower back is often achy and I get occasional leg cramps to. I'm guessing that's all normal. I have gained 8 lbs from my scale. I went to the dr yesterday though and she said that overall I have only gained 3 because I lost weight in the first trimester. Doing good on that front though. I also had my glucose test yesterday. I should get the results back today sometime. Other than that, there is nothing new with the pregnancy.
I left on Thursday for St. Louis. My baby shower was amazing! We got a lot of great gifts including homemade blankets from a few folks, diaper genie, gift cards, couch diaper bag (thanks mom and dad), regular diaper bag, toys, excersaucer, bouncer, eating utensils, clothes (lots) and a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting about. The theme was of course mainly giraffe but included other safari animals. My cake was super cute and tasted amazing! There was also a great balloon lady that made a really cool palm tree. I have pics of it. Lots of friends and family showed up so we had a great time. My sister also brought the twins with her and it was the first time mark got to meet them! He got a little practice while in town :) He didn't change a diaper though, lol. Seemed like he always had something to do, crazy how that worked out like that. The trip was great though. We are extremely grateful for everything and everyone who helped make it possible. We came back home on Monday. The flight was a direct one so that was nice.
Once home I got a second wind after eating some pizza and decided that we should go to target and babies r us to stick up on everything else we needed. :) we had a lot of gift cards so we only ended up spending a little bit of our own money. Now I'm sure there is a ton of stuff we need that I am not aware of but we will cross that bridge when we get there. We got our stroller, swing, bedding, bath tub, pack n play, carseat, safety stuff, bath stuff, bottles, monitors, sheets and a lot more! I was so excited. We did have one little hiccup along the way :-/ I ended up losing my wallet at babies r us. It had over $500 in cash in there so I freaked out! Turns out I must have taken it out of my purse while in the bouncer section because that's were it was. After running around like crazy and having the manager look over security cameras I retraced my steps and found it sitting right next to a bouncer. Pregnancy brain I guess, lol. The husband was not thrilled with that excuse :) In the end though everything worked out. I learned my lesson though.
So today, actually as I write this, the moving company is here. They are packing everything for us, thankfully! I can't imagine how stressed I would be if I had to do it all. Yesterday I had to get everything packed that we will bring on the plane including dog stuff, bedding, clothes and shower stuff. I also had a dr appointment and a vet appointment. So the day was full! I was completely exhausted by 9pm. The movers come again tomorrow to actually load it all up and get on the road with it. It will take 7-10 days for it to get to New York. That's a long time to be sitting in an empty apartment. But I will have to make due. I guess I'll spend most of my time figuring out where everything will go and writing thank you cards for my shower. We fly out on Friday morning.
Well that's all I have for now. A lot going on. I'll update again next week. Here are some pictures

25 Weeks
Well nothing really new this week. Just preparing for the big move. Only 11 more days and I will be in New York. Mark found us s great place to live and I'm excited to set up everything and get ready for Emma's arrival.
I leave in two days for St. Louis. Mark will be meeting me there. It should be a great weekend. I know the people throwing me this shower have worked really hard and I can't wait to see everything. :)
Cravings: Nothing out of the ordinary. Just sweets.
Mood: Nervous! A lot going on right now.
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness: none
Pains: Lots of leg cramps. My back usually hurts at the end of the day. I have also had a lot of headaches lately. It might be stress related, not sure.
Miss anything: Other than a uninterrupted sleep.......
Weight gain/loss: 7 pounds gained! I think that's pretty good. I hope to only gain 15-20lbs total. We shall see.
Object Comparison: Emma is the size of a eggplant. Weighing in at 2lbs, she is getting big!
Movement: It's amazing how strong she is. She is constantly on the move. Seeing my belly jump is really cool. Mark hasn't had the pleasure of seeing this yet because he has been out of town for almost 2 weeks. I think he will be surprised to see how often it happens.
Belly Button: In
Names: Emma Lynn
Medical concerns: I can feel my blood pressure raised sometimes. Most of this is due to stress I think.
Looking Forward To: My shower and the move to New York.
And now the bumpdate!!!!!!

24 Weeks/viability!!
We made it!! I am beyond excited that we have reached viability. Now I know that if for any reason Emma decides to make an early entrance doctors would try to save her. This is a huge milestone! I can't believe I'm 6 months already. Seems like yesterday I was doing our egg transfer. It's been a long road to get here but I would do it all over again for this sweet baby!
Baby Emma is moving all the time now. In fact I don't think she sleeps! There is constant movement going on in there. If i eat a lot of sweets she goes nuts in there with some ninja type moves. Most the time it doesn't hurt but when she starts kicking my bladder and belly button..... It is very painful. I can now see my belly move when she does. It's a strange thing to look at for sure but I love it.
I had my doctor appointment on Friday. Everything went well for the most part. I will go back one more time before the move to do my diabetes test. I still need to find a new doctor in New York. Until I have our exact address though I don't want to look for one. Hopefully mark will finish all that up in the next few days.
Mark left for New York again on Saturday. He will meet me in St. Louis for my baby shower on the 2nd. That's 2 weeks not seeing my hubby! :( It's hard not having anyone to talk to in the evenings but I make due. My pups keep me entertained for the most part. After my baby shower in St. Louis we come back home to San Diego for a few days and then we make our move to the big apple! I'm super nervous about the whole thing to tell you the truth. It's all happening so fast. I'm ready to just get it all over with though. I'm most excited to get started on the baby room. I want to nest so badly. Right now I have everything stacked up in the extra bedroom in a cluster mess. It's driving me totally crazy! Only a few more weeks....
Over the weekend my neighbors were nice enough to invite me to go to the zoo with them. They know that Mark is gone and try to keep me company :) We had lots of fun. She is 36 weeks pregnant so we relate on that front. Hope she doesn't mind me posting the picture of us together! Lol
That's all for now folks. See ya at 25 weeks!
Cravings: this week it's pretzels with cheese and snow cones :)
Mood: A little stressed with the upcoming move.
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness and Pains: mostly lower back pain.
Miss anything: surprise surprise.... Sleep!
Weight gain/loss: still at the 5lb mark.
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our Emma will be the size of an eggplant. Suck a big girl!
Movement: Yes, lots! She moves a lot.

23 weeks
First off its my hubby's birthday today! Love you honey. He is 31 today!
Second off, my prayers go out to the victims and their families of the Boston marathon tragedy. I pray they find who did this and punish them greatly!
We are 23 weeks today! Only one more week to viability. Some days it's hard to believe I have a little person growing inside me. It's really an amazing thing.
Cravings: Strawberries and snow cones. I actually went to target and bought a snow cone machine. Yep I'm crazy I know. But it was so worth it! Yum
Mood: Good most of the time. I get very cranky when I get hungry.
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness and Pains: I have a feeling my hips are starting to spread. I'm not sure though. I just know my butt area hurts like hell.
Miss anything: I feel like a broken record because each week I say sleep. But it's true. I just want to sleep through the night. And I don't think I will get that again for a long time because once baby Emma gets here, Ill struggle with the same.
Weight gain/loss: I have gained 5 pounds. I feel like I've gained like 20 though.
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our Emma will be the size of an ear of corn. Getting big!!
Movement: Yes, lots! She moves a lot. I have even seen my belly move a few times. It's an amazing feeling and makes all the pains and no sleep worth it.

22 Weeks
Today marks 22 weeks! Only 2 more weeks until we hit viability. When we hit that I will feel a lot more at ease.
Not much has happened this past week really. I have been here by myself since getting back from my trip to St. Louis. Mark is in New York. He comes home tonight though :) 2 weeks without seeing him is far to long. Only a few more hours!!!!!!
We were finally assigned a real estate agent for New York. So we are starting to look for a place to live now. Hopefully we find our new home soon.
Cravings: Strawberries and anything sweet!
Mood: Good but very lonely. I'm missing human contact.
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness: none
Pains: I have been having a lot of back pain the last few days. I think it's sciatic nerve pain, not sure though. My feet and legs have been hurting more than normal to this week. I just can't stand for to long
Miss anything: Sleeping! I feel like all I do is lay there. When I am asleep it's a really light sleep. Any movement or noise from the pups I am awake!
Weight gain/loss: I have gained 5 pounds! I really should lay off all the sweets. Cause I was doing really well not gaining before my trip to St. Louis. I think all that home cooking and sweets triggered my "eat everything in sight" attitude.
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our Emma will be as big as a Papaya.
Movement: Yes, lots!!!!!! I can't wait for mark to get home and feel her punching and kicking. She is so much stronger and bigger since the last time he was home.
Belly Button: In
Names: Emma Lynn
Medical concerns: None
Looking Forward To: My baby shower in a few weeks!

Easter and 21 weeks
Yesterday marked 21 weeks. I was on a plane most of the day, talk about a back ache! I feel pretty good these days. Emma is moving a lot more and every time she does it brings a smile to my face.
I spent this last week in St. Louis visiting family for Easter and to have a get together for my grandma that passed. She didn't want a funeral, she wanted us to all go out to dinner and enjoy some good food and then go home and relax. So that's what we did. It was nice seeing everyone but it was hard because she wasn't there in person with us. All in all the dinner was nice and my grandma would have been happy with it. Love you forever Grandma!
On Easter everyone came over to my moms house. It has always been at my grandmas so this was different but it turned out great. I had no idea how much goes into hosting a Holliday!!! We were cooking all day long! My feet swelled for the first time. I had to take a time out a few times. I made these cute little nest things thanks to Pinterest! All it was was Rice Krispies treats shaped like nests and some mini chocolate eggs inside. Super cute! Hope all of you had a great Holliday!
My sister was able to make it in town as well! She brought the girls and I can't tell you how much fun they are at this age! They are 6 months and soooooo adorable! So much has happened since I last saw them at 3 months. On Friday we took them to see the Easter bunny at the mall. They didn't cry once at that bunny! I was surprised. They just say there. Love them so much! My sister brought me a TON of baby clothes for Emma! I am so thankful for this. They are so cute. I think my favorite thing she brought was the little snow/winter suit ! There is two and ohhhh my gosh are they to die for!!!!! It's going to be a cold winter in NY so I'm sure they will get used like crazy! Thanks again sis!
My husband and I joke all the time and say "this is why we can't have nice things" because we are both clumsy and tend to ruin things. Well, I proved this theory right again last night. On the way home from the airport I got in a tiny accident! I looked down for half a second and rear ended the car in front of me. We were at a red light and it turned green so we started to go and then he stopped because he didn't want to block the intersection ( there were a lot of cars in front of him). I looked down and BOOM! I have a scratched bumper now but that's a lot better than a cracked one. And as long as no one was hurt I'm thankful. My little izzy was in the car though and she flew forward. Not sure if she hit the dash or not :-/ but she's fine. Just a little shaken up. So again, this is why we can't have nice things! Lol
That's all the news I have for now. Still waiting on the final word to start moving. Until then.... We wait!

20 Weeks
This past week was not filled with joy all around. The loss of my grandma has proven to be a little more difficult than I imagined. I thought that because we have known for so long that it was a terminal cancer it would ease the pain a little because I have had more time to cope with it. I'm sure it helped a little but my heart aches for her everyday. I think of her constantly and find myself doing things to remind me of her. For instance, when I was a little girl my grandma would make me Rice Krispies cereal in the morning when we would stay the night. She would portion it with the perfect milk/cereal/sugar ratio. Then she would pour a glass of oj and tell me to drink all my juice. Needless to say I have been eating Rice Krispies the way she made them and drinking all my juice every morning. :) I guess this is my way of remembering her. And Emma enjoys it to! I know my grandma is holding her soul up in heaven until she is born! Love you Grandma!
I leave for St. Louis tomorrow. There isn't going to be a funeral. She told us before she passed that she didn't want one and that she wanted us to all go out to dinner instead. So that's what we are going to do on Friday. I can't wait to see my family. My sister is coming in town from Kansas City to, so I'll get to see my beautiful nieces. A definite plus!
Baby update!!! Yesterday marked 20 weeks! Half way there! It's very exciting for me. Emma's movements are very strong and felt often now. I can feel her kick my hand some times, that's an amazing feeling. Mark hasn't been able to get a feel of that yet. He is either at work when it happens or she stops when he comes over. Soon enough he will feel it though.
We had our 20 week anatomy scan today. Emma slept the entire time, A trait she gets from her dad lol!!!!! She was in the breech position and facing my back, of course. So we didn't get a lot of good face shots. She was squished up in a ball to. You can see her foot, hand and face all in the same picture. Lol The doctor said everything looked great and baby is healthy! According to their scale I have lost 4lbs since my first appointment. She said it wasn't a problem though considering I had a few pounds to spare anyway. I'm not complaining that's for sure. The less I gain the less I have to lose after delivery. :) So all in all everything looks great with me and baby.
Mark is heading out to New York next week. He will come back the following week and then leave again the next. He will then stay out there for good. Hopefully I won't be far behind him. It will probably take the movers a good week to get our stuff out there. Emma will be a New York born baby!
Mood: a little down with the passing of my Grandma
Cravings: Anything sweet!
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness: none really
Miss Anything: Sleep mostly. I can't get comfy at night and my sleep cycles are very short and interrupted.
Weight gain/loss: gained a total of 2.5 lbs
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our baby Emma will be the size of a banana.
Movement: lots of summersaults and KICKS!
Belly Button: In
Names: We decided on Emma Lynn
Medical concerns: Nothing major
Looking Forward To: Going to St. Louis to be with family.

So much
Today's post is full of news. First though, heaven gained an angel yesterday. My grandma made her way to heaven. She had brain surgery for the second time last Monday. She was put on hospice over the weekend though because she was just to sick to recover again from this type of surgery. She passed away with family by her side. I wish I could have been there to hold her hand but I'm on the other side of the country. I am going back the day after my 20 week appointment next week though. I went to the ocean and threw in some yellow roses for her. Yellow was her favorite color. May you rest in peace grandma! I love you and you will forever be in my heart!
Last week we were informed by my husbands work that he has been promoted and we are moving yet again. This time we are headed to the opposite coast! New York! I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I can't say that I'm very excited. Moving across country with two dogs and being pregnant will not be easy. Mark will leave next week while I'm in St. Louis visiting family. So when I get back that's when things get crazy. The packers will come and pack up everything one day and then the movers will come a few days later. It will take at least a week to get everything there. I hope mark finds a place for us to live fast! The one thing that is really gunna suck is finding a new doctor out there. But I'll make due I guess. New York here we come. If you know me personally please do not mention this on Facebook. My husbands coworkers do not know yet and he is friends with some of them on there. Do we are waiting until the company announces it to post on Facebook. Family and close friends know already though.
Today marks 19 weeks! One more week and we have made it half way. I have felt lots of movement this past week. I even felt a kick the other night! Craziness I tell ya! This little girl is gunna be a soccer player I think. Lol
Mood: Good. I have a lot more energy now.
Cravings: Anything sweet!
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness: none really
Miss Anything: Sleeping on my stomach.
Weight gain/loss: gained a total of 2 lbs
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our baby Emma will be the size of a large mango.
Movement: lots!

18 weeks and my birthday
On Sunday I turned 27! The hubby had to go out of town that morning so we celebrated on Saturday. We went and saw OZ and ordered my favorite Pizza from papa johns! Love that garlic sauce. As for the movie, it wasn't that good. I think kids may enjoy it but it was kinda boring for us. I thought it would have been a little better with all the hype. I don't have any family here in San Diego so I spent my actual birthday relaxing at home. I got some great gifts in the mail though! My sister sent me a box of maternity clothes ( I desperately needed those) and a cute onesie. My grandpa (papa) sent me a fabulous box of chocolate covered strawberries. I got a lot of cards with gifts in them to! I plan on scheduling a prenatal massage for later this week!
18 weeks! Wow, time flies doesn't it? This week has been just another week really. I feel Petrie move a lot at night time. He/she will probably be a night owl like me and my mom! Fine by me :) I started borrowing the hubby's T-shirts for sleeping at night. He isn't amused but keeps his mouth shut because he knows what's good for him, haha! Maternity clothes are a must now. I have got a little collection growing.
My grandma had another brain surgery yesterday. She is in the icu now and they removed her breathing tube this morning. They said that she only had a few days if she didn't do the surgery. So hopefully now she has a few months. I have made a trip to go back to St. Louis for Easter so we are praying she makes it to them. Please keep her in your prayers.
That's really all the news I have for now. I wanted to send a little shout out to my Friend Kristy who will be finding out the sex of her baby tomorrow! My guess is Girl!!!!! <3
Here are some pics of the maternity clothes I got!

17 weeks
Another week has passed. I am now 17 weeks! I definitely feel pregnant now. My lower back has been bothering me along with my left leg. Maybe it's the way my uterus is sitting, not sure but it has to be a nerve thing. I have been feeling the baby move more and more to. I think I have an athlete in there.
My grandma made another trip to the hospital this past week as well. She was diagnosed with brain cancer last spring. She has been a trooper for sure. Unfortunately the MRI showed another tumor that has caused some swelling and I think fluid. She was left with a very hard decision of another surgery, more radiation or to go on hospice. I think she decided on surgery but I'm not sure yet. I just pray that I get to see her again. I'm on the other side of the country. I'm thinking of making a trip back for Easter. Please keep her in your prayers.
My little Izzy was spayed on Thursday. She has had a rough recovery but is doing well now. She still whimpers every now and then but I'm not sure if that's because she is in pain or if she wants attention. She is so cute.
Cravings: Sweets
Mood: Good
Wedding Ring: Still fits
Sickness: I get queasy when I take the dogs for a walk and have to clean up after them! My gag reflex is pretty strong. The aches and pains of being pregnant are definitely here.
Miss anything: sleeping through the night.
Weight gain/loss: gained a total of 1 1/2 lbs so far.
Object Comparison: At the end of the week our Petrie will be the size of a sweet potato!
Movement: Yes, I can feel little rolls every now and then. I think I have an athlete in there.
Belly Button: In
Names: We have picked out both names and will announce on the day we reveal the gender.
Medical concerns: Just a little nervous still about my last appointment. I hope when we go back everything has gone back to normal.
Looking Forward To: Finding out if we have girl or boy parts growing in there!
