Jack is so full of life. Very happy all the time. He only cries when he's hungry or in pain. He's eating every 3 hours and at night he goes 6/7 hours. We just transitioned him out of the rock n play and to his crib. It's at an incline and he has this thing similar to the Tucker sling that keeps him in place so he doesn't roll down. It took a few nights but he's doing well. He takes a morning nap that's like 45 min and afternoon nap that is sometimes up to 3 hours and a evening nap that's about an hour long. I haven't set up a specific bedtime yet but it's usually around 9:30. Emma's is 7:30 and I plan on moving his to that time in the near future.
His reflux is under control with Prevacid and keeping him elevated. He doesn't spit up as much as he used to but still does. His butt has finally healed. We believe it was strep that caused it. 11/12 weeks of his life he had this. The poor kid was miserable and I was so fed up with Drs not helping. But we figured it out and that's all that matters I guess.
It's going to sound terrible but I can't remember what he weighed at his 3 month appointment exactly. I'm pretty sure it was 11lbs 14 oz but I could be off. I know he's gaining weight well though and is healthy so that's the important part.
Currently Jack loves playing and batting at his toys that hang from his play mat. Fans also catch his interest. He lights up with a smile anytime Emma starts talking to him. It's so adorable. His little coos are so cute. Tummy time is not so fun for him. He hates it really. He has gotten really close to rolling over though while doing it. His neck control is great so I guess being mad during it helps a bit.
I'll update his stats at his 4 month visit in July.
On to miss Emma! My little trouble maker. She's so full of energy and life. Always into something that kid. God love her. She enjoys anything that requires activeness. We started her in gymnastics a few weeks ago and she is in love! I'm thinking about putting her in dance, soccer or tball as well. She just has so much energy she needs to have lots to do.
We have been trying potty training but not very strict. I think in a few weeks we are going to clear a weekend and stay home bare butt. I hear that's the best way. We shall see. She is so stubborn it may be a while.
She's a healthy happy little girl. Her turning 3 in a month is so unbelievable. She was just born feels like.
That's all I have for now. Here are some pics.
